About the Business
Paint The Town Green is run by experienced London-based decorator and project manager Phil Robinson. Phil has spent the last 15 years working on projects of all shapes and sizes in and around London, for both private and corporate clients. Paint the Town Green's clients include: Conran's The Shop At Bluebird on London's King's Road, Marc Jacob's store in Mayfair, Damien Hirst's London Gallery and Phil Spencer's company Garringtons. Phil started Paint the Town Green soon after becoming a parent. He became aware of the potential harmful impact the paint he was using had on him and his team, his clients, their families and the environment.
The more he looked into it, the more he realized that conventional paints release toxic fumes into people's houses. He discovered that many of these fumes have been proven to be carcinogenic, cause breathing difficulties and provoke allergic reactions. Not to mention the huge amount of waste caused when non-environmentally friendly paints are produced.
